(Chronicler's Note: "The execution of Commander Fichiku seemed to mark an end to the extreme turbulence at the beginning of the Tyrant-King's reign. To the surprise of nearly all Thaelu, Queen Shamira again began to take an important role in her husband's life when the King suddenly became very ill and completely irrational. It was then that the military looked to her for guidance. After nearly two years of seclusion, the Queen became the Tyrant-King's regent during his illness. However, it had been a marriage in name only since long before Prince Jakon's disappearance, and Queen Shamira would never bear her husband any other children.
"On her staff, a young nobleman by the name of Ralyn rose quickly in esteem and trust until - at Shamira's insistence - the King once again appointed him to the position of Chancellor.
